Day 1 ~ Arrival  - Welcome Dinner – Kota Kinabalu
Kota Kinabalu- Sabah (Malaysia)
Kopivosian! Welcome to Kota Kinabalu! On arrival at Kota Kinabalu International Airport, you will be transferred to your tour hotel by our airport shuttle. The timing will be based on your flight arrival time. A welcome dinner at local restaurant.

Day 02  ~  Kinabalu National Park/ Poring Hot Spring & Canopy Walk
After breakfast, proceed to Poring Hot Spring. At approximately 2 hours drive from Kota Kinabalu. This Natural Hot Spring is believed to have curative soothing powers, soak yourself in sulfur-rich waters. For a magnificent view of the rainforest, go for the canopy walk, suspended 43 meters above the lush tropical Rainforest of Borneo. Spanning 157 meters that will give you lots of time to take in all the beauty this wonder has to offer. After lunch proceed to Kinabalu Park. Enjoy the breeze and fresh air of this highland. On a good clear day might be able to view Mount Kinabalu, the highest mountain in South East Asia. Kinabalu Park boasts an estimate of 4,500 species of plants which includes 1,500 species of Orchids, 77 of which are endemic to Kinabalu. The park also supports a whopping 289 species of birds and 290 different types of butterflies.  Overnight at Mountain Resort 

Day 03- Luanti Fish Spa - Sandakan –Prisoner of War - Agnes Keith  & English Tea House – Sheraton 
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Kampung Luanti, Ranau for a fish massaging session! In the Local KadazanDusun dialect, ‘tagal’ means ‘no fishing’, and the main purpose of the ‘tagal’ is to preserve the environment as well as the ecosystem to benefit the future generation. ‘Ikan Pelian’ or Malaysian Mahseer comes from the family of Cyprinidae. These fishes are specifically trained by the villagers to perform the healing massage activities.

After that, another 3 hours drive to Sandakan the nature town, passing through countryside whereby lively village with beautiful paddy field, plantation and greenie scenery along the way and first stop POW site – Prisoner of War, The Sandakan Death Marches were a series of forced marches in Borneo from Sandakan to Ranau which resulted in the deaths of 2,345 Allied prisoners of war held captive by the Empire of Japan during the Pacific campaign of World War II in the Sandakan POW Camp. By the end of the war, of all the prisoners who had been incarcerated at Sandakan and Ranau, only six Australians survived, all of whom had escaped. It is widely considered to be the single worst atrocity suffered by Australian servicemen during the Second World War. Then we proceed to The Agnes Keith and English Tea house for dinner while enjoy the spectacular sunset. Check in to Sheraton hotel

Day 4 - Selingan Turtle Island
Meet and pick up at your hotel lobby or Sandakan airport. You will be transferred to the Sabah Park Jetty in Sandakan where you will take a 1-hour boat ride to Selingan Turtle Island. Located only 40 kilometres from North Sandakan, you will have the opportunity to see the main nesting areas of the Green Turtles and Hawksbill Turtles.

Upon arrival, lunch will be served for you to feast! Check in to your basic but clean accommodation. The rest of the day you are free to stretch out by the beach or jump right into the sea for a snorkel round the nearby reefs. Dinner will be served on the Island.

After dinner, a Park Ranger will inform you on the right time to encounter turtle laying their eggs along the beach. Get the chances to witness the collecting of eggs from the nestling site and into a safe hatchery and watch baby turtles scrambling out into the open sea upon their release on shore. An adorable sight not to be missed!

It’s time to hit the hay and rest up with an overnight stay at your Selingan Turtle Island Chalet

Day 05 Sepilok - Gomantong Cave -  Kinabatangan River Cruise
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre situated in the Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve for video show. Visit the Nature Education Centre and watch the video documentary show to learn about the rehabilitation of orphaned orang utan before taking a boardwalk through the lowland rainforest to view the feeding platform. Trek ten minutes through the rainforest on wooden plank walks to witness the feeding of the orang utans at 1000 hrs. After Lunch proceed to Gomantong Cave and the journey take about 2.30 hours’ drive from Sandakan City. First up, a guided tour along the plank walk will unveil the intricate chamber system of Gomantong Cave, located within the Gomantong Forest Reserve. It is the largest bird’s nest cave in Sabah, home to millions of bats and swiflets. Next up, continue on an approximately 30 minute drive to one of the world’s richest ecosystems on the Lower Kinabatangan River, Sukau. Arrive at Kampung Bilit, hop on a boat and cruise down the river heading to Bilit Rainforest Lodge where lunch will be served. After settling in, the real adventure starts. A river cruise awaits you, where you can spot endemic Proboscis Monkeys, wild Orang Utans, leaf monkeys, gibbons and macaque, even sometimes if you are lucky, the rare Borneo Pygmy Elephant.  At 1900hrs, dinner at the lodge restaurant. Overnight at Bilit Adventure lodge.

Day 06 ~   Morning Cruise  -  Tabin Wildlife Reserve
Wake up early in the morning and join the first river cruise of the day to search for wildlife whereby their activities just started. Back to lodge for breakfast and check out. Another 2 hours’ drive to Tabin Wildlife, upon arrival check in and lunch is serve, After lunch, a jungle trekking to the famous mud volcano, the journey takes about 3 hours. After dinner, night safari to search for the nocturnal animal. Overnight at Tabin Wildlife Resort.

Day 07 – Lahad Datu - Kota Kinabalu
At 6 am proceed to morning trail to search for the wildlife, back to resort for breakfast. After breakfast, trek to the waterfall and dip yourself into the natural fresh waterfall in the deep jungle. After lunch, transfer to Lahad Datu for domestic flight to Kota Kinabalu. The journey takes about 55 minutes. Upon arrival check in to Kota Kinabalu hotel. Dinner at local restaurant.

Day 08 – Mari Mari Cultural Village
The village features 5 different ethnic tribes in one village. They are the rice farmer Kadazan-Dusun, the longhouse resident Rungus, the hunters and fisherman Lundayeh, the cowboy and sea gypsy Bajau, and the famously feared headhunting tribe Murut. Local delicacies will be served in the village. Afternoon, proceed to City tour. First visit the Sabah City Mosque, also known as the floating mosque. Next visit the Puh Toh Shi Buddist Temple - Built in year 1980, the building stands out with its traditional Chinese roofing and structure.  After that, visit the tallest architectural in Kota Kinabalu, The Yayasan Tower standing 122 meters high, also officially known as Menara Tun Mustapha (Sabah Foundation Building). Built in 1977, this 30-storey circular glass sculpture boasts a unique edifice utilizes a single column structure that is one of the very few in the world.

Later, transfer to hotel to enjoy hotel facilities and dinner at own expenses.

Day 09 – Heritage Walk  -  Sabah Tourism Board – Airport
After breakfast, proceed for a Heritage walk, first stop is Australia Place- one of the oldest established sections of Kota Kinabalu. Today many backpacker lodges are found here as well as printing companies. A quick pit stop at the Museum Kopitiam gives you a glimpse of a bygone era. The Kopitiam (coffee shop) stays true to its original concept back in the 40s, complete with framed photographs of pre and post war days adorning its walls. The walk then brings you to other historical buildings and monuments such as the Atkinson Clock, Community Centre, Sabah Tourism Building, Jesselton Hotel, Malaysia Monument, War Memorial and the City Council Building. After lunch, transfer to airport for flight home.
